Goals
The project builds on the existing AI Language Tutor platform (ailanguagetutor.syntagent.com) — an agentic architecture that orchestrates multiple AI models for personalized, teacher-centered language learning. AI4LANG expands the platform across three languages (Croatian, English, Japanese), pilots it in real university courses, and evaluates its impact on learners and educators.
Key objectives:
- WP2 — Platform expansion: multilingual architecture, CEFR-linked content structures, module integration
- WP3 — Pilots & evaluation: multi-site pilot implementation with 240+ learners and 30+ educators across three languages
- WP4 — Dissemination & sustainability: publication pipeline, conference events, post-project adoption framework
Payment structure
- Maximum grant: €250,000 (lump sum; no budget flexibility)
- Pre-financing: €200,000 (80%) after the Grant Agreement is in force and the Consortium Agreement is confirmed
- Final payment: €50,000 (20%) after approval of the final report
- There is no second pre-financing and no 40/40/20 schedule
